Anyone using a T-dolly trailer to haul their rig?
Advantages/disadvantages vs flat towing or regular trailer?
This would be used behind my Motorhome or my pickup.
All opinions welcome!

My preference is trailer, then flat tow and last is dolly.
Trailer for obvious reasons. No wear and tear on rig, but it's heavier and more expensive.

Flat tow because of better control. Even wear on tires, and more predictable, better to remove rear DS. Set up can be cheap and you can tap into existing wiring for lights.

Dolly if there's no other option. This is good for front wheel drive cars, that's about it. These can be expensive also, and if you're going to spend that much, you might as well spend a little more and get a trailer.

Just my $0.02

Plus, although it's difficult with a short trailer behind a long motorhome, you can back up with a trailer if necessary. A dolly or flat tow you can only get a couple of feet before things start to bind up and go the wrong way.

And a trailer will haul your Jeep, even if it's broken and won't roll.
