i just got the cut-outs punched on my 99tahoe. if you havent had yours done, then the steal has to be punched and some adjustment nuts/bolts have to be installed. i think they use a special tool to punch out the cutouts.

I havent forgot you, I havent found any pics, to be honest I havent looked, but Ill try and explain the cut outs since it looks like 97s didnt come with the cam kit.

there are 2 bolts on the upper control arms were the pivot on the frame, these two bolts from the factory have washers underneath them, these washers happen to be tack welded to the frame, dont aske me why. so there not adjustable

the cam kit, replaces upper bolts and washers, bit theres a catch, the bolt is machined flat on one side and the washer is cut to match the bolts so that it fits snug. the hole in the washer is not centerd, thise way when the bolt is turned the it pushes or pulls the A-arm to dial into factory specifications for caster and camber,

theres nothing wrong with the factory specs but the promote the tires to scrub more when going don the road. I have my caster set so the tires can run flat as possible down the road, and toes set to go as straight as possibel, well was now its nocked out of adjusment.pulls slithly to the right.

I hope thats not to confuseing, if I get some pics of mine or if I run across some in my service manual Ill get them up.
