On the t-case, simple. remove old nut, swap flanges, install new nut, torque and crimp. Done.

The diffs require you to reset pinion depth.

Not required to reset the pinion depth, just reset preload and possible have to get another crush sleeve. Pinion depth is set with shims between bearing and pinion gear head.

 

Pug, we can make a "flange holder" from some scrps I have laying around. An impact wrench will be of great help as well...........

 

A big a$$ pipe wrench works pretty good to hold the flange while you bust the nut loose.

 

If you have the large flanges, you don't really even have to purchase and swap to small ones. You can turn the flange 45* and redrill the holes to the smaller bolt pattern of the old style driveshafts.
