Superlift Problems...

Hey

I have a 4inch superlift on my CJ7. When I first put it on I called Superlift cause I didnt think it was high enough. They said I had 4inches.

I just bought a second set of front shocks and they are a different size or something. I put them on and they only have 1 inch of room before they bottom out. Their website says I have the right shock.

Either I have a smaller lift or their site is wrong - right?

how much room is between your bumpstop and the spacer on the axle? should be 1.5 to 2.5 inches. if you do not have the spacers (which are about 3in tall) and have 3.5-4.5in you have a 2 in lift. i would double check your shock app with superlift jic.

I am going to call Superlift tomorrow. If I don't have a 4inch lift I am not going to be happy.

THE SUPERLIFT 4IN. SPRINGS THAT I HAD WERE ACTUALLY 3IN. SPRINGS AND SAGGED A FULL INCH ON THE FIRST GOOD TRAIL RIDE.I TOOK THEM BACK TO 4WHEEL WHOLESALERS(THE PLACE OF PURCHASE) AND TRADED THEM FOR TRAILMASTERS.THE TRAILMASTERS ARE HOLDING UP JUST FINE. JUST MY 2CENTS.

What's the part number on your springs? Should be in yellow paint on the top of each main leaf.

I will have to take a look when I get home from work. I don't drive it daily...

Well, I am waiting for an invoice for my order show that I ordered a 4inch lift, Superlift seems to think i have a 2.5 lift. I have to check the part numbers on the springs when I get home. HOPEFULLY they are 2.5 lift springs so I can have them REPLACE THEM.

Went back and took another look at your web site (hadn't been in several months). From the pics it looks like you have 33" BFG AT's. You don't appear to have much if any better clearance than I do with my 32" BFG MT's and 2.5" Superlift in the pictures before the body lift.
I'll post the part numbers since I'm home with the catalog handy:

01-530F = 2.5" front HD, add -6 for Super-ride
01-530R = 2.5" rear HD, "
01-533F = 4" front HD, "
01-533R = 4" rear HD, "

Hey thanks.
I won't be able to check the springs for the part numbers until the weekend but I am hoping to find 2.5" part numbers. Superlift is willing to help as soon as I find out if they are 2.5".

From day one I called Superlift and the place I bought it from and they said I had 4".

Where are the part numbers on the springs?

Thanks for your help!

They're stenciled in yellow paint on the tops of the main leaves.

I just hope that the numbers are still there. God I hope they are 2.5 so I can get this thing right! Thanks guys.
I will let you know what happens.
