I have seen some really good deals on Superlift lift kits. They are below $400 for lift and shocks. Are they just running some sort of special or is the quality not as good as the others? One other question, how does Superlift compare to Pro Comp or Skyjacker?

what jeep?
I have the 4" superlift softride on my 84 CJ7. I love the ride! It almost rides better than my TJ w/4" Procomp!!

As for the height - Not so happy with it. I have a warn 12000 on the front and other gear loaded in the back and my old 33's rubbed a lot in the woods. I added a body lift for now until I do SOA in the spring.. Other than that I like the lift.

My Friend has a 83 CJ w/ 4" Procomp... STIFF!!! He hates it! Way to stiff and there is no flex at all. He is always having problems with flex.

'74 CJ-5 and I am looking to get a 4" lift. I have a Rancho 2.5" lift now but bent the h&!! out of my springs. My 33 swampers don't rub too bad now, so hopefully with the Superlift 4" I should be okay...THANX for the help.

Brian, yes the pro comp is stiff but with all that weight you have it might have gotten you more height and been softer that it was on your friends. i have a 73 with a 360 and the pro comps are just right in the front and too stiff in the back if its not full of gear.

understood.. ;)

I agree with your point but my friends jeep is "full" too. I would think it would move a little but those springs just don't give. In fact, his lift just looks wrong to me. the springs are so stiff that the shackles don't really have any angle to them. I mean NONE AT ALL. He actaully had to take his 35s off and put 33's on cause he could barely drive it on the road... thats fine with me cause the 35s are mine now... ;)
