I was thinking it would be cool to chop the back top off my Suburban. I could set it up with a removable top like a blazer.
I imagine it would take a lot of planning to make it work.

What do you guys think?

One of my friends did that last fall. It's pretty cool. Third row seating is quite unique when you don't have a roof over your head.

The rest of the vehicle looks a little different than this now but the top is the same.

That's what I'm talking about. I'd probably need a donor Blazer to source the top and the top edges of the bed. And I have barn doors now, so I'd need a tailgate too.

Are those the IROKs on that burb? If so how are they holding up and how well do they work?

They're 40" TSLs.

So I showed the picture above to my wife and she said hell no. Since it is our primary family car, I'll have to be waiting til we get her new van in the fall.
It would probably take me at least until then to get the parts and plan together anyhow.

One of the better looking things on his Suburban was his blending between the K5 and the Suburban. Most of the whole thing looks bad though. Rockers are optional equipment on that Suburban.
