Use any 5 1/4'' speaker. I used Infinitys Co-axel type w/ Polypropalane material so that it wont deteriate if thay get wet or baked in the sun. Don't get cheap speakers made of paper or foam you will just have to replace them again. Had them for 4 years and no problums!

 

Poly Planner speakers are weatherproof. Marine dealers have them.

 

I am not sure, but I believe the stock speaker size is 4". Seems to me I had to do some cutting to get the 5 1/4" speakers in the dash.

they are 5.25...like some others said...waterproof would be nice! Its easir to put the in if you buy 4 slip nuts for them in the hardware store. (4 for each speaker)

They are 5 1/4" for the front. the look is deceiving. There are 4 threaded posts behind the dash that line up. There is one thing to watch for: if the speaker has a tweeter that protrudes you will need to add some spacers ( nuts,etc. ) between the speaker and the dash. take it from experience. chad
