i have a 94 300 Kawasaki Bayou . when i changed the oil last[and had to wrench the plug the WHOLE way out], i discovered that the PO had cross-threaded it.
I cleaned it up the best i could [hack-saw blade], but its time for a oil change now.
QUESTION:Can i drain the oil out from the filter side [tilting the 4-wheeler]?
or any suggestions as to removing the oil w/o taking the drain plug out?
thanks, john

YA, there calles tap and die set's, so you can use them too re-thread all sort's of thing's, but the best idea would proball be too just fix the draian plug and get it out of the way so you can easily change oil whenever you want

Well yuo can do what these guys'are saying or you can by a Hela-coal from a NAPA store or some place like that. I stripped the plug on my Banshee. The hela-coil kit worked awesome! The kits are expensive but they work good.
