The other night, it was still in the 60's when I got home from work, which is quite unusual here in northern IL for Feb. My wife had the grill fired up. Then I needed to move the mud truck into the garage.

With the warm weather, the smell of brats cooking on the grill and the sweet smell high octane exhaust from the Mouse, I got pretty stoked about the upcoming racing season! /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif WHEN IS THAT FIRST RACE?? /wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif

Our first one is May 13th in Washington, MO - that's 78 days from now, BTW. The Springfield Jambo is a week earlier for those who do that stuff/wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif. We BBQ'd last night. It hit EIGHTY in STL yesterday & was still 70 when I went to bed last night. Just had the leftovers (burp) for lunch. Time to get wrenchin'!!!

60s, 70s, and 80s, I would take it. It will be a long while before we see temps like that in the U.P. of Michigan. I think I know under which snow bank my trailer sits.
I too am pumped. Our race season don't start until the end of May, beginning of June. But if I'm ready for once I want to go to a race in Green Bay around the 15 of May. I have never made that one but I hear it is a good one.

Our race season started begining of febuary. Our next one is march 11.
Even though I dont race often, just when feeling stupid, I love to go and watch. None of my friends can understand why I get so excited the day before..
