Last time when I posted a pic of my steering shaft, there was some confusion as to what I was pointing out.

Here are pictures of both the lower, and upper u-joints on the steering shaft.. This does not look the same as 2 other CJs down the road..

No one has any idea??

I guesse if I can get a day off work, I'll just have to start hitting the junk yards.. It's just painfull trying to find anything older than 10 - 15 years around here..

It looks like someone has used a combination of an upper YJ or XJ steering shaft and welded the upper joint from a CJ to the bottom of a Chevy rag joint. To me it looks like they used a Chevy steering box and didn't have the right joint on the bottom and they made one that would work.
