BTW, hows the rebuild coming. Still waiting on the exhaust? URE opens in just 8 weeks... I need to get off my dusty get busy too!

 

I'm goin to give it my best shot to get there. Things have been a little rough around here since my wife's father died. Missed a week of work and have been workin 7 days a week to make it up. We start a refuel outage at work on Sunday and I just got my work schedule 5 am to 8 pm 7 days a week for the next 4 weeks and the worst part of the outage is I've already lost my beard (damn the bad luck first time I've shaved since 97). That's enough excuses and whining hope to get started again full blast towards the end of March.

Although my Jeepster is ready NOW, I doubt I'll make that run.

As for the rebuild, it has become the replace. Still blowing oil after Tom broke it

. Just kidding. It is tired and I am going to replace it with a certain I-6 you (Caver) put me onto the scent of. Hopefully it won't "wolf" down too much gas.

Should be done in about a month or so, depending on my child's sleeping habits. I also have to come up with a new gas tank to replace the rust filled one I have now.

 

And why is following me a BAD thing?

 

Drayson, the wife says she wants the Jeepster finished before that date. So that means I have to get to work. Are you going to be around this weekend? If so I'll run down and bring the stuff to you. I don't have your new email here at work and didn't want to forget when I got home. I think she is going to setup a Jeepster work day / birthday party next month.

At least I gave up my hopes and dreams of having my Commando there "fairly quickly" last year. There is no way I could have nursed it there. Besides, if it sat at Toad's too long, it would look like Cheese's. Wait a minute, maybe that would be a good thing, (except the front clip)

Depending on where it sat, it might grow some greenery (ala Mossy) or some massive trail damage (ala 'Toad)!!!
