Does anyone know if there are spools for the Dana 44 available? Yes, I know how they will handle on the pavement. The jeep is only driven on the street once or twice a week. Thanks!!!

I don't know for sure so I'm just askin', but I thought the Dana 44 was no longer an available option. I heard they discontinued this option and you couldn't get one on model year 2000 TJ's. ????

Randys Ring $ Pinion had Spools for Dana44 (30 spline) for $185 when i called last week. I dont know if the TJ Dana is 30 Spline or not. I am just relaying what i know. Give em a call.

The D44 is still available. A month or so back, production was low, and they were not listed as an option due to their quantity. The are back though.

the dana 44 comes on the Sahara models. The SE and the Sport both get the 35c.
He was right. It was just a supply problem, as far as anyone knows the 44 will continue to come on the Sahara.

You can also get the D44 on the Sport, just not on the SE. You have to have the "tire & wheel package", or specify it separately. The D44 under the TJ is a 30 spline as well.
