I am thinking of doing a SOA on my CJ. It has stock rears. I was recently told that there are special perches that I need to get. I have always seen regular perches welded on the axles and ready to go. I was told that R.E sells these perches (can't load the site for some reason). Is there anyone else who sells them?

I know that you can buy regular spring perchs from summit racing for $13, says that they are for all 3" diameter tube axles, not sure what diameter your axles are though...

You don't have to buy RE's perches...they don't really do much to prevent axle wrap, a true anti-wrap bar is much more effective. I've seen them, and it's just a perch with a little bit longer saddle...you could weld a piece of flat stock to a normal perch for the same effect (which doesn't do much of anything as I said earlier).
