MY 85 BRONCO 300-6 W-MSD 6T CUTS OUT UNDER A LOAD.
I noticed spark flash at the hex base of the plug but I can't seem to seal it up It has new 8mm silly wires ?

Re: Sparking plug Wires

Does that boot have a lot of oil, carbon, dirt, or other crap coating it? That might provide a path for the spark, but you said the wires are new. How about the insulator of the plug? Is it coated with anything? Clean everything and see if it clears up. My next suggestion is to replace the plugs, or at least the one that's arcing.

Re: Sparking plug Wires

Hi Steve
The plugs are new bosh plats
but as you know the six spews oil from the valve cover.
As you said contamination and spark will travel.
My next step is to give the side of the engine a bath
Thanks Pat
