In some of the pictures you can see the dented hood where the hood blew up. A little bit of advice when you are in a rush to get to the trail please make sure your hood is latched properly, it sucks finding out at 35mph.

Get some mud tires man! Those BFG AT's are slicker than owl sh!t in the mud, almost like street tires. 4WPH's has a buy 3 get 1 free sale on Pro-Comp muds right now.

Yeah the A/T's are on the way out the door, I got to do gears too, then I'm going to BFG 35 inch muds, then tearing up the axles, oh well I never learn.

Thats Georgia clay alright. Fun stuff to wheel in, but its a pain to clean off the underside of the jeep. I'm in the Atlanta area too, is that private land or ORV area? Always looking for new places to go...

Actually its in SC, near Greenville. I truthfully don't know if it is private or not. There are trails everywhere and people out there all the time. I would guess private just because of the location, but no posted signs or anything. If you go back far enough you run into a hunting reserve. Where are you in Atlanta?

Try having the hood fly up on a three lane interstate doing 60-65 /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif, with a old soft top with smokey windows! Like you I got in a hurry and forgot to put the latches back on. NEVER make that mistake again!!!! I was extremely lucky that I was able to make it to the side of the road with out hitting someone or someone hitting me.

whats the ride and handleing like with the Pro-comp leafs
in a SOA setup? I have the same springs, but under the axle and they are really stiff.
