i just finished a SOA on my 81 cj-7. i didnt think i could do it, but the rear is real easy, only took 3hrs. the front was a bit harder, but everything seemend to work for me. my stock driveshafts fit front and rear, the only problem i ran into was steering. i moved my pitman arm to steering knuckle link under the leaf springs and it hit the leaf springs under articulation. i put a slight bend in order to fix that problem (but that didnt last to long with my 35's)anyways, i had a 4' lift with 33's, when i was done with the spring over using stock heavy duty cj springs i had a little over 6 inches of lift, so i question how level your jeep would be with a 4inch kit in the front, but springs to tend to sag and after several months my springs are sagging and are probably an inch lower.
