Slick Rock Shackle Hanger Questions

Hey Guys,

I have a CJ-7 that has 2 busted REAR shackle hangers and i need to replace them for the CJ springs at first to pass inspection and then i will be doing a YJ spring conversion. My question is: Are the CJ and YJ rear shackle hangers the same?? I dont see SLICKROCK hangers listed ANYWHERE for a YJ applications. Any ideas, comments, opinions??

YJ don't have hangers. The shackle mounts through a hole in the frame. You need to buy the CJ hangers.

Hey Tim,

Are the YJ springs and the CJ springs the same width in the rear? I dont have my YJ springs yet to measure them.

I THINK they are a little wider, but I can't remember. I haven't converted to them yet because I might go with coils. How about getting the OME (old man emu) kit tha includes new hangers and bolts right up.
