I looked into this myself at one point actually. From what I heard, it isn't all too hard to do. Just takes some minor modifications I guess. I was going to go with that, but then say that totally awesome stainless grill that Anton is making, and changed my mind!

 

I assume that you are talking about an SJ410 Grille because a Sammie is a SJ413. Anyway, here is a pic of the swap.

the 410 grill swap isn't difficult. The difficult part is getting the old screws out of the original grill. The 410 grill does need some minor modifications, but nothing a dremel or grinder can't handle. The hood latch mechanism does need to be spaced out. I used some aluminum spacers to accomplish this.....

 

This is kinda funny, I've been planning on puting a Samurai hood on my 84 SJ410, We all seem to be headed for the same look!
