I was looking through that web site Chris posted, lots of good info by the way, and I read something about side-gapping you
spark plugs. Anyone ever heard of this before? Basically you cut off the end of the electrod so you can see the inner one.
This exposes more of the spark and thus more power and all that stuff. This sound bogus to anyone else or is it true?

Yep, I've heard of it. And I tried it with a bunch of plugs exactly as it said and it didn't work worth a darn. Not to say that I was doing it right, but it sure didn't work for me. Give it a try if you have some old plugs laying around. I'm running some good old fashioned AC Delcos and they work great. Boshe platinums made my '96 4-cyl ping under hard acceleration.
