Shipping large parts

How much, roughly, does it cost to ship parts like axles or engines? I am selling some large parts and need to know if it is reasonable to ship things that large and if so who can I get to ship something like that.

I had a 4 cylinder Saturn engine shipped from Miami, Florida to Detroit, Michigan. It costed only $100. Seemed pretty reasonable to me.
