I have a 96 cherokee classic. What is the highest speed I can safely shift it into 4-hi? What would happen if I shifted into 4-hi at too high of a speed.
I have commandtrac
Thanks
You can safely shift to 4 hi at any legal forward speed. Says so in the owners manual. In other words you can shift it into 4 hi anytime you feel a need for it as long as it is on slipery or loose road surfaces, unless you have a select trac in which case you coulod shift to 4 hi full time at any time you feel a need including on dry pavement.
