My buddy wanted me to ask u all what this prob is. When he is out muddin his steering wheel skakes hella when he gets goin down the road. And when we were out in deep snow it did it agian. Anybody know what this is?

Prob just mud in the rims, and the wheel does get thrown around alot through ruts and bumps(bump steer), tell him to slow down and just look at that Idler arm and see if he bent it yet. Also if the center link is worn that will give him some play, especialy on ice or slick surfaces.

I had a similar problem with my 89 KC and it turned out to be the bolt on the upper control arm was broken.
The parts guy at the local Nissan Dealer says it's common problem.
The truck tracked down the road straight , no wandering and it had a slight thud sound when it hit a rough bump.

Anyway, I replaced the bolt and bushings .
