Shackle Reversal

I have a 77CJ with a 4" soft ride and 2 body lift and am running 33" BFG Muds. I am thinking about adding a shackle reversal kit. Will this cause problems with my Exhaust or fenders? I really do not want to trim my fenders or change my exhaust. I have heard you get better handling and articulation with these kits. I spend most of my time playing in the sand at Silver Lake Michigan but have been crawling in Colorado. And am looking at Utah this spring. What would happen if I ever tried to run 35" tires? At the truck show that run the CORR trucks they sell the tires (35" x 12.5")that have been run for $60 a piece.

I have a shackle reversal on my wrangler. No fender rubbing problems. Handles great, rides great. Articulates great. I would recommend it. It also gave me 1 more inch of clearance in the front.

Which shackle reversal kit are you running?

The warrior kit. It was around $225.00
$125 for install.
I had John Walls 4x4 do the work.

john, you weren't in the group from memphis that went to hot springs thanksgiving weekend, were you?

No, why did you go? I'd like to. I live in Missouri, but it is only about 3 1/2 hours from Hot Springs. I saw a home video at John Walls 4x4 in Memphis. It was of them and several other jeeps trail climbing at hot springs. Looked pretty fun.
