I bought another car and need to dump the XJ. It has a brand new 4.0 in it with maybe 3000 miles on it. Its a limited with all the options and very nice! I think it needs a computer but I cant spend the money on it now with a new car. so 2900 takes it, I'm in Spokane Wa. theres some pics of it at my web site too. http://www.geocities.com/Baja/Trails/3184/
/wwwthreads_images/icons/shocked.gifMaybe you should add some details other than the engine such as year, tranny, axels, lift(?), tires, other important stuff, body.../wwwthreads_images/icons/laugh.gif

Reason To Offroad: When you were a kid you played in the mud... Why Change?
A lot of the XJ's that had d44 rear axles were limiteds i think. You might wanna check what yours is because the upgraded axle would be a definite plus for anyone looking!
87 Comanche Shortbox 4X4, 4.0, 5-Speed, 4.5" lift, 33s, etc.
I really liked the tires in the winter, being center siped really made a difference, I never found myself wishing I had something different. I also drove an 8mile unmaintained road home each winter day. they are 30 by 9.50 EXT wildcats, I paid about 250 bucks for them they were used with about 70% tread.. Not sure if they fit without a lift, I have a 2" lift and had never tried fitting anything bigger than stock when it was stock height.
They should fit if the springs aren't saggy. What brand are the tires?
