Hello-- I am new to this and need some help. I own a 72 commando/ full hardtop/ 304 3-speed/ 73000 miles/ been garaged for 20 yrs. need space so want to sell. what is a reasonable price for both me and a buyer? Blue book somewhere or what?

It eally depends on where you located at. John B , bought one up the road from me for $800 and it was in pretty good shape I thought. But what sell up north for $4000 we get down south for $1000. I turn down a mint 76 cj7 for $500 couple months ago.

Thanks for the reply--- the only reply that I have gotten. Sure would like that mint 76 for $500. My 72 commando is in B+ condition with everything working and runs well. New paint, new rockers. Hose leak in PS and dent in gastank. tank needs some repair or replacement. Otherwise in great condition. I am thinking about $2500 - 3000 or so. Any ideas on price?

Bluebook prices for your car are listed at www.nada.com. I'm not sure how accurate it is since it seems like the market for Jeepsters is heating up.
