If anyone needs any weatherstrip or rubber part for their Jeepster or other vehicles, there is THE supplier to Steele and other companies in Charlotte. I have bought all of my replacement weatherstrip, rubber, and fasteners from a local company which supplies most all old car parts places with said items.
I've started keeping records of what goes where (by part numbers) of the items that I've purchased. If I can be of help, let me know.

I'd sure like to replace my wind wing window seals. Metro makes one for the Willy's Jeepster, but not the Commandos. Any ideas?

You're a good man Richard. As everyone knows it never rains here in NW Washington. I would like to replace all of my weatherstripping and rubber seals on my 71 Commando wagon to keep all that liquid sunshine out.

What's going to be the preferred way of contacting you? Feel free to email me onelonejack@aol.com ,if it's convenient for you to do so, with the information that you have: part, part numbers, company information and any other info you that you find might be helpful.

Thanks,
Dennis

Hey Qster, good work. I've been wondering how I'm gonna get all the glass I took out to stay back in! I've got the entire truck apart and body getting sandblasted now. I'll be needing every piece of rubber and weatherstrip available except for maybe the cowl. Amazingly, no rust there! Thanks, bruce
