Rs 5000\'s-Thanks Guys

Just put a set of 5000's on my '93 p-u. WOW, what a difference. The old shocks were like marshmellows(after 85K). Just wanted to say THANKS, this BBS is invaluable to me. Never would of got the Ranchos , but enough people said good things about them - so I thank you.

What kind of ride quality are you getting on the highway. It's about time for me to replace my shocks and I was thinking about the
Rancho 9000s. I was wondering if any one thinks the extra cost is justifiable. I want to improve my off-road handling but I also
don't want a real harsh ride on the street.

Any info would be appreciated.

The 5000's are a little on the stiff side. If you use your vehicle as a dual purpose truck (street/trail) then I would spend the extra and get the 9000's. The adjustablility is very nice.

Rockjaw's got my vote! The 9000's are well worth the extra buck's especially compared to the 5000's. The adjustments are all very noticable, and they have much better on & mostly off-road characteristics. It might just be me but I was really disapointed with the 5000's!
