Rough Idle?

I was washing off my engine today(not too hard because it hasn't been running the best). I noticed that whenever I sprayed water over the intake side of the 258 it started running really rough. I wasn't spraying onto anyting electrical(plugs, wires,etc). Could this be a leak in a vacume hose or around the intake? It never did die but I didn't really hose it off very good.

yes it could very well be that... try the old"spray the intake with wd-40" trick.. if the idle geos up, you have a leak
