That's some pretty good wheelin' you had going up there, Brad!!! Makes me feel even better that we stayed down here doing the "on- call" thing /wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif ! I'll send this to the rest of the gang that was supposed to go w/me. We made up for it this weekend though. We got the broken parts that tells us so! I'll be making my way up there whithin a month or 2 to take a look at some graveyards.

After looking at the pictures you posted a few days ago, I'm looking forward to seeing the issue. I have to admit I can see the challenge that "big stone" has to offer. While we have rock ledges and large rocks to overcome, not to mention mud and clay...the "big stone" you fellows are climbing is truely impressive. It wasn't until I started paying attention to the type of terrain I saw in some the pictures you posted, did I understand the need for the "beef" being built into your rides. I'll certainly check out the new article.

Great article Brad,
Awsome photography. It put me right there in the action, I think I have pucker mark now, on my kitchen chair.
Keep up the great work, your doing an impressive job.

100' cliffs! Yikes! Anyway, read the article - interesting about the "no winch" rule. I assume it was the Red CJ-2a that was completely cut up that won the stock modified. The article didn't list what Wranglers were 2-5 (as far as the year) were they all TJ's?

My question is - does anyone ever roll their Jeep so bad that it is totally wrecked? Has anyone ever rolled over one of those really big (50'-100') cliffs. Just asking.

I gotta get out there. Any other events out there this summer?

As far as the Wranglers go, some TJs, some YJs. And yes, there are occasional VERY bad rolls. One guy this past Sunday destroyed his Samurai on the Secret Trail, went over backwards and sideways. And we had a guy killed last fall in Chokecherry Canyon in Playground 2, but he wasn;t wearing a seatbelt. But, its usually the stock vehicles driven by inexperienced drivers trying stuff they have no business trying that end up with the big damage. Personally, the stuff I do would probably be considered insane in other parts of the country, but for out here it wouldn't even be hard core. As far as other events this summer, nothing scheduled, BUT, Sept. is a full month. We have the UFWDA 25th bash, the ARCA final and the Womens Competition all that month, gonna be busy around here.
