Man my sammy has a slight whine when Im going down the road and kinda sounds like its coming from the tranny on back, cant really tell. But Ive noticed when I take my foot almost off the gas,It gets louder.Ive already changed the axle bearings and diff bearings last year and Ive got fluid in the diff,so any suggestions?

The first two things that come to mind David is fluid level in the tranny and t-case and checking for any up and down/side to side movement in the drive flanges.

I would be afraid, be very afraid. Whinning is usally accociated with bearings. But it could be as simple as the brake return spring broke and is stuck between the rear brake shoe and the drum. (it happend to me) or it could also be the tranny (happened to me also), t-case, or something like that. I hope for the best.

the bearing kit for the tranny is around 70 bucks from atc trans parts it comes with all 6 main bearings the needle bearing between the input and main shaft and both seals
and its not that bad of a job it helps to have a bearing puller but if your good you can us 2 big screw drives,a brass drift and a hammer
