Reverse Carb

Has anyone reversed their carb on their jeep? I know some of the benifits I think I read a bit about it somewhere but I don't know much on this so any advice or info would be greatly apeciated. I'm off work for a bit so I have time to tinker, (not much tough)

If you have a problem with fuel flow when climbing hills, when you flip it around you'll have problems going down hills. Thats about the only problems I can think of, except for linkage and fuel lines.

downhill is ok I just like being able to get up them I wonder how the throttle linkages would work?

I would think a cable throttle would be the answer to the linkage.Just get a longer cable. Go around the engine ot the front. Make a bracket to hold, and add a spring on the other side to return the carb lever.

ya that sounds like the answer, I might give it a try and let you know how it works out and plus sides and problems with it. It wont be for a bit I don't think. Moneys a bit of a problem right now I only have a bit.

Have you seen the blue and black Zebra striped CJ10 that won one of the ARCA events last year. He runs a reverse mounted Q-JET.

ya I read up on him in Jp magizine. That's a crazy rig. I didn't know he ran reverse carb tough.
