Can anyone tell me what year Ford put the rev. cut 44 into the front of there F150, that is also leaf sprung?

don't know if there ever was a reverse cut 44 leaf sprung F150, but the 78 and 79 fullsize broncos had reverse cut 44's, but they had radius arms and coil springs.

Never was a leaf reverse cut 44(70?-79). There were reverse cut leaf 50s and 60s.
Is this for the front or rear of your Jeep?

It's for the front. I have 78 Bronco axles. The rears in already, but the front has those radius arms and are a mold, not welded on. It's has to be retube. I thought maybe I could find a rev cut 44 that was leaf sprung. In fact I just read and old magizine that had a YJ with a rev cut 44 out of a ford.
I guess I'll just retube!

77.5 to79



77.5 to 79 F250's have leaf spring rev. 44's.

77.5-79 f150 extra cabs came with leaf sprung 44s up front. but they are gettin very hard to find.

Roger, is the 44 a 1/2ton or are F250's 3/4ton?
Would you know the width of the axle?
