Disconnect the linkages. The shafts will be smooth where they slid in and out but on the ends they will be built up wil rust and crud. You need to get this down to the same size as the smooth part or it will rip the new seal. use sandpaper or whatever you have. The old seals you can take out by jabing them with a scratch awl or anything with a point then pull them out, real easy. New ones just tap in, but tap then evenly so as to not get them cocked sideways too much. It is tight with the t-case still in the jeep but not to bad. It's a good time to rebuse the shifter linkage so the shifter doesn't rattle and shake.
