what im looking for is a registion and serial number that has already been imported into canada, and preferably BC. I am having problems registering my 73 commando as the previous owner lost the registration, and now ICBC wont let me register it without contacting to PO owner and haveing him get a new reg made up. and he is no longer with us.

Do a search for "lost title service"...There are several outfits that can provide titles without much prior paperwork due to lax early model title requirements in their states. Some states did not even require titles for older vehicles until after 1987. Here's one link, I know there are lots more out there...
