\'Rebecca\' is done and driving!!

After two years and many many many more trips to NAPA than I expected, she's finally done! I haven't taken many pics and i'll post more soon. She has some play in the steering and the springs are really saggy, but other than that she's a great driver. Already gettin' thumbs up and requests for rides! Thoughts?

i have not named mine but the color sure is close! reference attachment. code on mine is 2004 ford "cy" competition orange from the mustang mach 1 and cobra and the harley dav. truck. the painter painted my windshield frame top color which is different although i kind of like it, not going to change it. your jeepster sure looks great! joe.

bob, looks like statewins and i have more that the color in common. not shown in my pic but i have added duals in front of the rear wheels like he has. no smell inside from exhaust fumes coming in around the leaky tailgate that way. joe.

Yea Joe... et al..
A year ago when I got my JEEPSTER the orig exhaust was on the drivers side ahead of the rear wheel.. I thought HUMMM.. thats a strange place to put it... I had a custom system fabbed up and elected to go out the rear.. MISTAKE.... I tried extensions.. down turned extensions..nothing helped.. the fumes were really bad.. I bit the bullet and had it put back there... no problemo now... only second thoughts would be to split the manifolds and run duals ahead of the rear wheels..... not to get involved with some of the exotic custom headers.. phew...

confused, if you have a v6 did you not run a pipe to each side? easy to do. mount the mufflers between the frame and the rocker panel on each side. i used 2 1/2 in pipe and super turbo mufflers to get a deep tone. not too loud inside either.

Re: \'Rebecca\' is done and driving!!

Naw Joe.. blew it.. I used the crossover and one muffler exit out the drivers side... In hind site I should have gone your way... well with all the salt they put on the roads here it wont be tooo long b4 I get a chance to do it right.. and ?rocker panels... rocker panels you say? are they SUPPOSED to be below the doors... holding the rust together???

Thanks for all your positive comments! Timber, what a beaut, the color is almost the same! We selected the paint from a fleet book, and I think mine is Roadway orange, but not sure. It's been rainy and when the sun comes out I'll bring her outside for a topless shoot. Have a great day everyone!
