Well, my front springs are trashed out. So its time for new springs in the front. I have a set of rear springs that are brand new that i was thinking of using on the front. I know i would have to change the shackle hanger, but thats not a big deal. The main eye hanger is already wide enough, you just have to use rear spring bushings. What i am worried about is the spring rates. I have 4in superlift softride springs on the CJ now front and back. The set of rear springs i have are also rear superlift softride springs. Before i go through all the work to change the springs over, i was wondering if anyone has done this before. Eye to eye, they measure the same as my stock springs. I forgot to check the pin to see if that is in the same spot or not. So i plan to do that tomorrow.

Does anyone know where i can find the spring rates. Being a little stiffer wont hurt anything, since my winch/bumper is soooo heavy, the extra spring couldnt hurt.

What about the pins, are they centered or offset.

Thanks

Seems to me like the spring rate may be lower (softer) since they weren't set up to carry the engine.
You could always pulls a leaf or two from the pack you have and "make" a set.
How about the main leaf you have now and the rest of the superlift pack? Then you wouldn't have to change the shackle mounts and bushings.
