Yup, and I can't find that picture on my hard drive anymore...must have lost it in the great crash last year...Time for a new avitar...

My avatar is gone, and I couldn't replace it. I reduced a picture to 140 X 140 pixels, but when I tried to upload it got the message that the file couldn't be larger than 10,240 bytes. 140 X 140 is 19,600 pixels, so it would have to use 4 bits, or 16 values, per pixel. That's not much of a picture. I think something is screwed up there.

I had to reload my avitar as well -- good reason to change. I tried uploading one that 140x130 but it would not upload. I changed it to 139x129 and it worked. Go figure...

Humm. It automaticly resized my avatar to 140x140 when I put the URL in for an uploaded picture in the "test stuff here", that was 640x480 pixels.

I can't say about it being faster. I just switched from dial-up to DSL last month and EVERYTHING is faster.
I did notice that if you click on an attachment, right click and select "Save Picture As .." it tries to save it as a bitmap with the name "untitled" even though the ones I selected were jpgs.
What can I say? It's free and I appreciate the attention.

Taz, try clearing out your internet cache. You should be able to save as .jpg after that.

Don't think that's he problem. If the picture is pasted into the post, it downloads with the proper name and extension. If I right click on the link and "Save Target As", it has the right name and extension. If I click the attachment link, let it display and then try to download the same picture using right click "Save Picture As", it comes up untitled.bmp. Not a big problem, just something I noticed.
