I have a '97 Ranger w/ 63K after running in 4WD
I shift back to 2Wd, within 2-3 miles the transfer case will start to whine, if I switch back to 4WD and back again the noise goes away, is this a common problem with this truck?, how can I fix it? 2.3L v-6 fuel inj. 15" billet rims (stock)

Sounds like something's amiss in the shift linkage.
(Or, is your's electronic "on the fly" type?)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, me thinks the first post which is pinned to the top says "Do Not Post Vehicle Specific Questions Here" so me guesses you probably in the wrong forum with this here question. Any moderators out there that know how to do there job of moving this post to where it will do him some good
