I used the quart cans of Rustoleum gloss enamal.=Quart cost $5.79 each
3 quarts of navy blue gloss.= body
2 quarts of gloss white.= top
1 quart of gloss black.= trim,grill,wheels,etc.
1 bag of assorted cheap sponge brushes , sponge is key!!
1 rust and paint remover wheel that attaches to drill
some tape and newspapers
16 hours all together.
--Total cost less than $50..
-and I have extra for touch-ups and such
-It will always bead up great in the rain, and is easy to get the mud off!!!
-can change colors when hunting season comes!!
I'd say go for it if your not going to RESTORE your Scout to original Specs or Quality or if your like me and like to actually use it for it was meant for.
And i'm broke too which is a factor...
