What year(s) of Datsun/Nissan 4X4 uses the R200 front Differentials? From what I understand, these are the same as the ones in the 280ZX which can be used in my 240Z. The 4X4 is one of a few ways to get over 3.9:1. I was also wondering if and if, who sell locking diffs for the R200.

BTW, I also have a jeep, so I am not just a car guy.

That would be all V6 model 4x4's. Also you might want to know but some of the early 4 cyl Hardbody 4x4's came with C200 wich has the same inner parts as the R200. Most of the rear ends came with 4.37:1 ratio's. I have a C200 rear if you need parts. It is in great shape I swapped to the H233b rear end.

Probably what you are after is a 83 or older 720 Pickup front diff. These are an R180 with 4.375 gears. Some people have used these diffs in Dastun 510s to replace the 3.7 R160 that comes stock. Me and a friend tried to do it in his 510, he'd get the 4.375s and I would inherit his 4.11 diff for my car, but we couldnt find all the parts for the conversion. The problem is that the trucks all use CV joints on the half-shafts, while 240zs and 510s use U-Joints. To get around this you'll need the stub shafts, and possible the side gears out of an R180 diff that uses U-joints like your 240Z. You probably have the correct stub shafts, etc on your Z now, so you'd just need to swap the necessary parts, BUT, i havent done it so i cant tell you exactly where to get all the right bits, just that it IS possible.
