I found a nice 17x8 wheel that I plan on running on my 2wd street zook, but need to know if the +10 offset and 78.1 center bore will fit? Also I thought that the sammy bolt pattern was 5x137.9 but the guy at the shop kept saying 5x135. Thanks,

for some reason the tire shops that I have contacted use the first # in inches and the second in millimeters, but that seems the norm. The tire/wheel combo is going to be 17x8 wheel with 225/60/17 tires. I hope that fits my stock sammy

Does the front of a 2wd zuk have a big hub like the 4wds do. Cuz a zuk has the big hub up front. Like old fords and scouts and maybe heeps. I know that a late model ford wheel will not fit on a zuk cuz of the front hub size.

Not sure that matters with a 2wd jus thought i should bring it up. Id hate to see a fellow zuker lose cash flow for no reason.

You know I was thinking the same thing, I put the zook away for the winter in storage and haven't had a chance lately to get her. Looking at some of my pics I know that the wheel has a hub looking device in the front and back, but I believe that it is a fake clip on cover over the center hole. I'm going to have to make it a point to get out there this week and get that answer for sure. I'll let you all know what it has then.

That's correct. ALL suzuki 4x4 trucks have the LARGE front hub, regardless if it is 2wd or 4wd.

The correct BOLT specs are " 5 on 5.5 ".

No one makes a 17" rim that will fit a samurai.

You MUST MUST MUST MUST have the LARGE centers (the hole in the center of the wheel).

The EASIEST thing to do would be to buy adapters to convert the 5 on 5.5 to the standard import (toyota, nissan) 6 lug specs.

With a 2wd truck, the spacers would take care of spacing problems up front with a SMALL center wheel.

That's my 2 cents.

ps. I've got easy access to 6 lug 18" rims, but it's toooo costly to get adapters for the samurai stuff. 300 dollars + for adapters..
