Need the approx. value for a 1975 CJ-5 69,000 original miles. 304 amc V-8. Orginial paint and gauges.

Im no expert anything, BUT I can tell you this

it varies ALOT

anywhere from $800-$4500 would be a fair guess from what ive seen
any rust at all ( and there is almost ALWAYS rust) pushes it down past the 3500 mark.

you just have to look around and get some comparables

Hi . I would be careful . If I am not mistaken , the 75 and earlier didnt have a boxed in frame ( someone correct me if I`m wrong, please) . I bought my 79 CJ5 for 2 grand CANADIAN , which is about $ 1300.00 US . Everything was great except the tub was junk ( Can you say RUST !!). I would try and find one 78 and up .

Paid $750.00 for my 1974 CJ here in FLA. HAve seen a real nice one go for $5500.00 though.

Bought my 76' CJ5 258 with 68,000 miles on it. Engine leaks no oil. Good comp. It has a t-18 in it. The tub has some rust but not much. I paid 1000.00 for it and put in about another 500.00 to make it a daily driver of 40 miles a day.

It all depends on the market value in your area...

Around here, I would say it woulg go for between $800 and $3200, slightly higher if everything (body & mechanical) is in tip-top shape...
