Why do my unread post not disappear when I read the thread? Why do my posts not come up until I log off and come back on?

Set your brouser to ask you if you want to except cookie and login to the site. When asked, say yes. Then you can go back to your original settings after having spent some time in here collecting the various cookies associated with the functions.
