Quarter elliptic rear(not 3/4)

Does anyone know anything about quarter eliptical setup for the rear of a jeep. I saw a project "zuk" on the ORC web site that had this set up. Has anyone had some experience with this or seen it. The articulation was intense!!! I've looked at the Avalance Engineering web site and sort of got an idea of what it is and how it works. Looks neat to me, but it looks like it would offer a harsh on-road ride because of the thicker springs.

Just looking for experiences and opinions...
thanks,

I may soon be changing to a 1/4 from the 3/4 I have now. Here's a good link that offers lots of info:Click Here

Wayne,

After your conversion to 1/4 springs would you consider selling your buggy springs and shackle setup?

Let me know

I would but it might be a while before I get around to changing it over, to many things on my "to do list". Now that I have a second(and third) car, I can make PYRO into more of a trail rig then a daily driver, I can hardly wait :) .
