I just got a truck with quadratrac and I want to change the oil in it. I thought that it took a special oil, but my Chiltons says 10w-30, which is right?

The Quadratrac does require special oil. The Jeep dealer have it for about $10 a quart or you can get it from 4Wheel Drive Hardware for $7.50 a quart. The Mopar p/n is J8133854 and the 4WDH p/n is 8133854. Hmmm, sounds awfully close. There is an attached photo you can take to the Jeep dealer so when you get that blank stare you can prove you know what you are talking about.
