HI, I am taking apart the front hub so I can pull the shaft to change the U-joint, although I can't get the hub and bearings out. Right now I have a slide hammer hooked up to it and have been beating the piss out of it but it won't budge. Is there anything else I can try to get it off?

Yes, a sharp chisel. Put it where the 3 cutouts are on the dust shield, where you can see the hub mate the knuckle and whack them one at a time rotating. This was the only thing that worked for me after 10 years of rust.
