Proper \'Cage\' needed

Since there has been so much talk here about rollcages, here is a link to a picture from Sludgehammer trail of a Wrangler that has the typical 'sports bar' cage. This so called Cage on the green Wrangler really shows the need for a 'real' full cage.

good post, as usual. I was on the phone to S&W last week when a TJ owner that I work with asked what I was talking about. He didn't understand what the big deal was and tried to tell me that those front struts into the windshield frame are as strong as a cage. All he really has is a rear bar. A bar is better than the nothing our rigs came with, but a cage sure is better.

It looks ok if your the driver, sux to be riding shotgun! Those "spreader bars" look like more liability than help.
