Well last night Mikej678 stopped by the shop, And while i worked on finishing up KoKo's tire carrirer/rack. He disasembled the Toy case for new gears. Once that was done I milled the case to except them and it is now ready for reinstall (except for the one broken bolt in the case at the mount, that is realy stuck) Anyway The night before I rebuilt the first case and added the doubler, so today we should have after some more machine work a full motor to end case ready to install in to the Rat.. Pics to follow later

Ah yes grasshopper it will all fit quite nicely with a 109" wheel base

well the progress abrubtly stopped when i destroyed the clutch disk, in the lathe. you have to remove 3/8" and the [bleep] caught and tore it self apart.. back to the auto store to order another one.... But the the duals are done.. just not the way I planned the day

That guy Koko is a pain in the arse. Maybe if he told you what axles he was running things would have been easier.

Things are Great today, I actually found a parts store that carrys all my clutch p[arts in stock and are NEW not reman and they are affordable... I pushed KOKOS stuff o the floor to kmake room for some other fabbing today LOL J/K John

Well, after picking up 2 clutch disk's and a new pressure plate. I machined the first disk without problems. We proceded to yank the 1.3 and trans, bolted the 1.6 to the RingR, toy trans,case doubler, case and dropped it in the frame rails, where it is currently sitting. I have to pic up 2 new stock motor mounts. then work on the trans x-member.. I will popp a few pics later. but all in all a good day..

good progress for a weekend, need pics though! I just wrapped up my doubler and automatic trans install. Its geared kinda low for the street but the low-low off road is gonna be nice, cant wait to try it out in the rocks. I took it for a ride around the block and I think I am gonna like the automatic
