Did you creative with the vapor and return lines? The tank needs venting to keep from having a vapor lock. Good Luck.
priming fuel system
well.... i fired up tj-7 today... oh the sweet sound of 360 horse power... but only till i ran out of fuel.. i ran all new fuel lines and i just cant get the pump to suck gas from the tank... any ideas??.. i allready tried pouring gas down into the pump and i tried to fill the lines, but i think the gas just went into the tank

ok.. i can admit when i'm a dummy.....
i put 4 gallons of gas into the tank.... finally today i pulled the tank to see what was going on.. and i realized that the fuel pick-up tube was about 9 inches from the bottom of my 22 gallon tank, so i made a new tube and presto... i shook the walls and really p#@@# the neighbors off.... maybe tommorrow I'll get some exhaust on that thing...

Good to hear that you got it running. Will it be ready for next week. I put my wife's tires on my YJ yesterday and what a difference. If I could only convince her to let me keep them on. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to save up until I get some meats of my own.
