The subject says it all. My husband, Mitch, which many of you know, is undergoing a gastric by pass surgery in the morning. After years of battling is weight, he has made this choice to give him a new lease on life. I would appreciate any and all prayers you can send up for him.
I will be printing this out and bringing it to the hospital for him to see post surgery.

When the procedure slims you down you're going to realize how cold Michigan really is!
There's only one solution I can see, get well and go wheeling. It's got to be one of the only warm things to do outdoors during a Michigan winter.

Good luck! Get well! Happy New Year!

Mitch & Rae,

You guys have been on my mind for quite some time..... Prayers have been sent as well as healing energies to speed Mitch's recovery.
No surgery is without pain and discomfort, so I thought I might share a tip on dealing with all the unpleasantness.
When you are in pain and seek relief, first give the pain a visual geometric shape that you can see in your mind. Then, while visualizing that shape, make it smaller and smaller, till it disappears.... Quite simple and effective....

Till I hear from you again, healing energies and Good Medicine will be sent to you....You might even feel it as you receive it, as it most likely will make you feel a sudden calmness and warmth....
I'm looking forward to seeing you guys at the next Melt. We have a lot of catching up to do....

You got it Rae. I wish Mitch a quick and painless recovery, and look forward to seeing half of him at the 'Melt this summer. That is if I recognize him anymore after the weight loss.

But I have to wonder what will happen to all those tattoos if he slims down considerably. Hmmmmm. Can't wait to see the results.

Take care. I'll see you, Mitch and Jakoby in July.
